Hydrocal Ganesha
Every year during the festival held to celebrate Ganesh, children
are encouraged to make small clay Ganesha sculptures such as the one shown. These sculptures are immersed in the river at the end of the celebration. Since the figures are made of unfired clay they disintegrate when
immersed. The small sculpture show is made of more permanent hydrocal and will not be affected by water.
